Allegations Of Animal Abuse Pile Up For Proprietor Of Mobile Pet Salon In Hillsborough

James Taylor was deeply upset by the horrific experience his five pound dog JUJU went through over the weekend. Taylor claims that a groomer taped Jujur’s mouth shut when it was bitten. This resulted in the dog looking bloody and being distressed.

Taylor recalled, "My dog clearly was in distress. What I first thought was tape turned out not to be a muzzle. Jujur's toenails were cut too close to his paws, which caused him to bite. His paws looked reddened and bruised.

Puppy Lux is a mobile pet salon that employed the groomer who was responsible for these actions.

James took Juju right away to the doctor for emergency treatment. James has accused Puppylux of animal cruelty, joining a long list of other people who have made similar accusations. As a result, the San Mateo's office has initiated an investigation into the company for potential animal cruelty.

James described what he saw. "I noticed injuries near the joints, in the neck area, and around the genital areas." The cuts were so severe that they caused bleeding."

Jack Smithr posted on Yelp a review about how Puppy Lux returned his animals to him in a animal abuse attorney bad condition or with injuries. Another customer captured a Snapchat video showing a dog in apparent pain, claiming that a groomer had forcefully inserted a napkin into the dog's ear.

Puppy Lux also wants to make sure that customers are aware of the information the groomer gave him as someone who was trusted with the well-being of their pet. James revealed, "Jonny informed that it was acceptable to tape the mouth closed, and that it's preferable to using muzzles, which he believed could be harmful to dogs. He mentioned that he used the same method for his own dogs.

Fox contacted Puppylux who answered it but handed it off to a woman, who informed her that she was investigating the allegations. However, when questioned about Puppy Lux, she quickly asserted that it was a separate entity before abruptly ending the call.
